Description: The Black Ice is a psychological horror where you will find a solo investigation in the abandoned Vostok scientific complex in the middle of the Antarctic desert. You are a polar explorer from the Mirny station who received an SOS signal. Arriving at the site, you find dead silence, scattered notes from scientists and doors sealed from the inside. The connection is lost. The staff disappeared. And only the ice – black, anomalous – makes it clear: it was better not to come here.
The complex is a labyrinth of frozen corridors, secret laboratories and ancient artifacts. “Black ice” is said to form under extreme pressure and contain particles of unknown origin – possibly cosmic. Scientists conducted experiments here, but something went wrong. Now you solve puzzles based on real phenomena, search for clues, save ammo and batteries, feeling how the cold penetrates not only your body, but also your mind.
Here time is the main enemy. Every step could be the last. Rustles behind the walls, distorted voices on the radio, reflections in the frost – all this is frightening. Survival depends on being cool. But the deeper you go, the clearer it becomes: some secrets are best left under ice.
