Description: Alaska Gold Fever is a simulator of a gold miner in late 19th century Alaska. You start practically from scratch: simple tools, an empty pocket and a big dream of getting rich. The main occupation is gold mining in mines. You break up the rock, put up supports to prevent the tunnel from collapsing, take out the ore and process it. Gold comes in different forms: dust, flakes, nuggets – each requires its own approach to cleaning and selling.
But the game is not limited to just mines. You can hunt wild animals, harvest wood, renovate and develop your uncle’s old hotel, hire workers and open other businesses. Shops in the town have limited stock but are restocking quickly. Over time, new mines are opened, crafting recipes, improving tools, and even a dog sled for transportation. The atmosphere of harsh Alaska is strongly felt: cold, wild nature, constant need for preparation and calculation.
