Description: The sea whispers something incomprehensible, and the shadow of the past hangs over it-in Worshippers of Cthulhu you become the head of the cult that he wants to arouse Kthulhu. This is a game about construction, where you put cities on the islands to please your God. Start small – build a house for your people, collect a tree and fish so that no one will starve. The map is large, with the islands everywhere: here the forests are darkened, there the old stones stick out of the ground, and the water around is quietly splashing. Everything looks gloomy-at home with wonderful roofs, the light of the moon pours cold, and it seems that someone is following. You yourself choose how to lead a cult – to raise it quietly or immediately go to big rituals.
In the afternoon you are busy with business – look so that people work, the food was on the table, and Vera was tight, because nothing will come of it without it. At night, you begin to call Ktulhu – make victims, call for creatures from the water to help. You can capture neighboring islands where those who do not believe live, and force them to join. The battles are simple – the warriors or monsters are striking to pick up someone else’s. The levels are different: either a small island with a couple of houses, then a wide shore with altars. You are also looking for old notes and things to find out more about Ktulhu and make a cult stronger.
You are free to build the way you want – to quietly raise the cities or fight with everyone who is against it. You can put temples and statues so that everything looks like in a terrible story. The world lives: the waves beat on the shore, birds fly over the trees, and somewhere in the depths something moves. Here each step brings you to the ancient god, and Worshippers of Cthulhu gives you a chance to build your dark fairy tale.
