Description: Vasilisa and Baba Yaga (Vasilisa and Baba Yaga) plunges into the gloomy atmosphere of Slavic folklore, where the familiar plot of Vasilisa the Beautiful takes on new, almost horror shades. The eight-year-old heroine will have to go through a forbidden forest filled with evil spirits – from swampers to goblin – to get to Baba Yaga’s hut. The visual style of the game balances between fairy-tale aesthetics and disturbing graphics: huts with crooked walls, foggy thickets and Yaga herself, whose image is both grotesque and mesmerizing.
The gameplay is based on alternating mini-games – from skirmishes with evil spirits to everyday tasks like washing dishes or baking pies. The combat episodes are simple but atmospheric: for example, you need to quietly sneak past a sleeping merman or run away from the mistress of the forest herself. The narrator who tells the story in the southern Russian dialect, like a village storyteller at the stove, adds a special charm. Authenticity is complemented by the soundtrack – ditties, harp music and ominous tunes in the labyrinths.
