Description: The Scourge is a horror adventure inspired by folk legends, where you plunge into Nhat Huy’s nightmares to uncover the mystery of his family’s death. The action takes place in Saigon in the 90s – an era of an unknown epidemic, mystical phenomena and urban legends. You explore dilapidated apartments, cross between reality and dreams, solve puzzles and encounter “The Plague,” a supernatural force that lives on the edge of worlds.
The game is built on atmosphere: oppressive silence, flickering lights, old televisions and radios broadcasting the eerie “Three O’clock in the Morning” show, whose stories reflect the fate of the main character. Instead of bloody leaps, there is perverted flesh, distorted faces and the symbolism of Buddhist rituals. You see dolls representing your loved ones, and gradually restore the past, full of mistakes, remorse and unsolved rules.
The Scourge combines meditative tempo, cultural depth and psychological tension. This is not just horror – it is a personal confession, drawing you into a whirlpool of pain, memory and attempts at redemption. Are you ready to enter this dream – and come out of it intact?
