Description: The Precint transfers you to the dirty streets of the fictional Aver-City of the 1980s-a world where neon signs of brothels flicker next to broken telephone booths, and each lane smells of gasoline and crime. You are a newcomer in the police station Nick Cordell, the son of the legendary chef, and your change is rarely limited to boring fines for parking. Either the car hijackers will arrange a drift at the intersection, then the drug dealers will begin a shootout at the bank, and you-with a penny revolver and a cynic partner-must restore order by all the rules: check the documents, search, apply force exactly within the framework of the charter.
Mechanics resembles old GTA, but with inverted morality: here you do not rob banks, but catch those who do it. Each challenge is a small procedural story: the suspect can calmly pass the breathing test … and then suddenly rushes into the run, arranging a chase with a shootout. Physics of machines is a special pleasure: heavy “whims” of the police with a roar unfold on wet asphalt, and chases sometimes turn into a stunt show with a dozen patrol patrol.
But the main thing is the atmosphere. The city lives its life: passers -by quoting the “highlander”, the radio plays saxophone hits, and the crime is so hypertrophied here that it seems that you have fallen into the cross between the “Police Academy” and “Crime Filting”. Yes, the plot is template (corruption, revenge for the father), and the dialogs sound like a parody of militants of the 80s, but this is what makes the game charming.
