Description: Sacred 2 Remaster is a reworked version of the cult ARPG from 2008, taking you to the fantasy world of Ancaria, where the magical substance T-Energy is tearing the earth apart. Choose from seven classes – from the sacred Seraphim to the mystical Dryad – and decide whether to serve the Light or the Dark: each side offers a separate campaign with different goals and unique characters. The world here is huge, colorful and almost completely open from the very beginning, but without a fast travel system – only a faithful steed and your own legs.
The gameplay revolves around the familiar arpg formula: kill hordes of enemies, collect equipment, level up your skills and complete hundreds of side quests – mainly “kill X monsters” or “find Y items”. The combat system, while overhauled, still feels archaic, with attacks often missing early in the game and controls—especially off PC—feeling sticky. But as the level increases, the depth is revealed: each class has its own tree of martial arts, which are recharged separately, without shared mana, which allows you to build rich, spectacular combos.
Visually, the remaster refreshed the textures and stabilized the performance – now the game runs smoothly, without crashes and drawdowns that plagued the original. This is not a re-imagining – this is nostalgia in a slightly purer form, for those who miss the era of endless fantasy spaces and eternal loot.
