Description: CRABS MUST DIE! is a compact post-apocalyptic shooter with RPG elements, where you, having crashed on a godforsaken planet, fight mutated crabs, raiders and other hostile evil spirits. You have a rusty bike, a shotgun and a bottle of beer by your side – you don’t need more. The game was created by one enthusiast using Unreal Engine 5, but at the same time it looks juicy and alive: swamps, bunkers, caves and wastelands are imbued with an atmosphere of strange, almost spiritual chaos, where every shootout is a balance between panic and pleasure.
You don’t just run and shoot – you level up. Collect junk, craft ammo, loot chests and choose perks that change your tactics: one makes you a master of stealth, another turns a pistol into an instrument of mass destruction. There are even active abilities – for example, calling a robot partner, who, however, more often observes the battle than participates in it. Enemies behave differently: some rush to attack, some sit on towers, and some simply explode as soon as you get close. By the middle of the passage, at levels 15–17, everything comes together: you are a thunderstorm of crabs, and the battles are dense, intense and fair.
The world is small, but dense: there are no empty kilometers for show, each location gives something – ammunition, experience, or just a reason to shoot at the next giant crustacean freak. Plot? Well, it exists – but only as a backdrop for a crazy marathon of survival. The key here is speed, weapons, and the feeling that you’re not just playing through a game, but participating in the lovingly assembled indie madness of one man who has proven that sometimes you just need to want to make a game – and make it well.

Starting the game:
