Description: Rogue Loops delays into a breathtaking cycle, where every victory inevitably turns into a new challenge. In the role of one of the four members of the family – from the slow fist fighter Gabriel to the clever archers Amber – you have to fight in constantly changing arenas. The trick of the game in its “loops”: after passing several rooms, you return to the beginning, but now the enemies are stronger, and more traps – after all, each obtained skill (for example, ice shells or teleportation) enhances opponents.
The battles here are a dynamic mix of foster, combo and magic, where reloading abilities depends on basic attacks. Mechanics echo with “Hades”, but a unique gameplay hook is a “blessing/curse” system. Do you want a powerful fire explosion? Please, but now the spikes will shoot from the walls. Do you prefer accelerated treatment? You have to put up with a poisonous fog. By the third entrance to the same room, it turns into a hellish meat grinder, where you need to quickly make decisions.
Visually, the game combines vivid special effects of abilities with gloomy pixel aesthetics of dungeons. Between the cycles you can pump permanent improvements in the “Person of Wishes” or change the characters-each offers fresh style (Aiden VS ghums Destructive spells of the Mother of Cirta). Although biomas differ only cosmetically, 14 types of enemies and hundreds of relics of relics (for example, paralyzing blows + lightning with a dump) retain interest in repeated passages.
