Description: Popucom-an incredible whirlwind of genres, combining a cooperative shooter, puzzles and Match-3 mechanics in one colorful adventure. You and your partner become intergalactic rescuers armed with a “rainbow shooter” – a weapon that changes color and allows you to blow up enemies on the principle of “three in a row”. But this is not just a shooter: each level turns into a puzzle where synchronization of actions is more important than accuracy. It is necessary to switch the colors of the platforms, activate the mechanisms and transfer the baton to the partner in time while you are attacked by crowds of slices.
With each chapter, the game throws new instruments: from a cat in a flying saucer that lifts the platform to the shield, reflecting the attack and working as a springboard. Mechanics mix like paints – in one episode you roll in a bomb -like form, and in the next already shake on a hook, like a Tarzan. The battles with bosses are especially impressive – giant designs from bubbles, where you need to not just shoot, but coordinate attacks and dodge unison.
Visually, Popucom resembles the cartoon of Pixar studio: bright locations, cute characters like Professor Yoki and thin irony in dialogs. But under this shell is a serious challenge for the team game. Yes, you can turn on the “without damage” mode for beginners, but a real buzz is to shout “click red!” And to rejoice together when the next puzzle succumbs after a dozen attempts.
