Description: Mirage 7 is an adventure game where you go into the desert with Nadira and her faithful lizard JiGi to find the Moon Princess and bring her sister back from the dead. The path lies through oases, ancient temples and ruins filled with mysteries, myths and traces of strange technology. Everything here breathes of an Arabian fairy tale, but with a cold, sci-fi overtone. You explore, combine items, light fires, and feel the sand under your feet as the world reveals its secrets in bite-sized pieces.
The game is built on puzzles and discovery: you need to recreate rituals, read symbols on the walls, use GiGi’s abilities to reach what is out of reach. His eyes help him find hidden objects, and his tongue helps him grab mechanisms. But not everything is so smooth: some decisions are made blindly, and the camera and combat are sometimes annoying. Combat is more a test of patience than tactics: enemies are resilient, unblockable, and have awkward controls. But the atmosphere holds, especially when suddenly an eerie face appears on the screen and whispers riddles on behalf of the Vizier.
In three to four hours you will cover the entire route – short but succinct. Music, voices, visual details like footprints in the sand – everything works to set the mood. This is not a blacktop, but a dark tale where the grief of loss meets a glimmer of hope. Whether this story is enough for you depends on whether you are ready to accept its understatement.
