Description: Formula Legends – a racing arcade with elements of the history of Formula 1, where you rush through the decades of motorsport in stylized machines and on the tracks that parody the real ones. The action covers the era from the 1960s to the 2020s: from classic cars without DRS and Kers to modern hybrids with energy recovery systems. Teams and pilots are not licensed, but they are recognized right away – Ferenzo instead of Ferrari, MC Lauden instead of McLaren, Luis Hammerton instead of Hamilton. The humor here is thin, but obvious, and it works.
Races take place on 32 tracks, many of which have several versions – depending on the era. You will see Monaco without boxing, Suzuku from the time of the Golden Era and even the rainy Dark Forest GP. The weather changes dynamically: you can start arriving on dry asphalt, and finish in the shower, deciding whether to change the tires or take risks. The tires wear out, fuel is consumed, there is damage – all this requires a strategic approach. Turn on WRS (analogue of DRS), use a jerk battery, go through a pit stop with a mini-game to replace the wheels-and all this in an arcade but not primitive pace.
The game offers three complexity modes, a decade history regime, for a while and custom championships. Content opens gradually – through victories, glasses and traveled circles. Yes, there is no multiplayer, yes, the textures are sometimes loaded with a delay, but the driving process itself clings. This is not Gran Turismo, but not Mario Kart. This is a niche. And if you love F1, but not averse to laughing – go ahead, to the start.
