Description: Flotsam is a mixture of survival, strategy and simulator, where you will need to build a real city on the water, and try to survive, doing everything possible to ensure that the city residents are happy with everything… The events of the game take place in a huge world drowned in the oceans, in which there is no longer land, but only water. It was under these conditions that people began to build floating cities. Well, you will just act as the founder of one of these cities. You will have to take control of a small town and learn to survive in the conditions of eternal navigation.
The gameplay here is quite simple, but is based on complex mechanics. You will have to survive, build mechanisms and create objects, automate the production of various objects and mechanisms, extract resources, sail across the endless seas and keep an eye on the townspeople and residents of the town.
As you progress through the game, you will be able to create various mechanisms and objects that will be very useful to you in solving various problems. At the same time, you can build and create mechanisms from any debris that you find floating on the surface of the water. Boards, various waste, fragments of mechanisms and instruments, building materials – all this will be useful to you as you progress through the game, and you can find all this in large quantities right on the surface of the water. But there is one “but” – all this must be used with caution – in no case should one assume that the entire city was larger than it should be, because then the city will begin to sink.
And at your disposal in Flotsam you will have such an important resource as people. You will have to manage them, assign them to jobs, distribute responsibilities between them and make sure that everyone brings at least some benefit. One can be made to pedal and pump water for desalination, another can be entrusted with growing fruits and vegetables. There are many options, and only you can decide who will do what.
