Description: Whispers of the Eyeless is a cult manager with strategy and roglite elements, where you become the voice of the dead gods, awakening them through chaos, faith and sacrifice. You are the First Prophet, and your task is to build a cult of the outcasts, penetrate the rotting city of Arantor and convert its inhabitants to your faith. It all starts from the ruins of the sanctuary: you recruit followers, strengthen the halls, send students on missions – steal resources, weaken enemies, spread influence. Every decision affects fanaticism, and if doubts penetrate the ranks, you may be betrayed.
The city is divided into districts – from the criminal Old Town to the arrogant Upper Town, and each requires special tactics. You explore locations step by step, like in old game books: choose a path, encounter events, traps, and battles. Combat is turn-based, with an emphasis on endurance and insanity: health and sanity are equal, and divine abilities feed on it. Use the gifts of Wrath, Desire or Madness – but remember: there is always a cost. Defeat doesn’t just knock you out of the fight – it weakens your influence in the city forever.
The atmosphere of a dark fairy tale awaits you: stylized 2D graphics, a bewitching voice-over, music whispering from the depths of consciousness. There is a short campaign, a Mirror of Fate mode with procedural challenges, and hundreds of mechanics – from rituals to managing the mood of cultists. It’s a dense, dark experience for those willing to lead the crowd through the darkness.
