Description: BrokenLore: UNFOLLOW is a first-person psychological horror game where you live through the nightmare of Anna, a woman stuck in a distorted looking glass of her own traumas. Home, school, hospital – everything is familiar, but each place is distorted by fears: the walls are covered with insults from childhood, and old offenders have turned into bloodthirsty monsters. You don’t fight, you run, you hide, you explore, trying to pick up the pieces of the past, while the number on the screen – the number of subscribers – rises and falls, a reminder that fame was her poison and salvation.
The game masterfully uses symbolism: the mother, obsessed with the “ideal” appearance, appears as a monster demanding sacrifices; former school weight taunts come to life as vile caricatures. To advance, you will have to perform terrible rituals – look for ingredients to feed the giant mouth, penetrate into the flesh-prison, where absurdity and decay reign. Visual transitions – from PS1 pixels to liminal spaces – increase the dissonance, and comments that pop up as if on live television hit the nerve, revealing the toxicity of the online reaction.
