Description: Train Valley Origins is a charming puzzle about the construction of railways, where each level is a new task for your strategic thinking. Starting with modest steam locomotives from the times of the Wild West and ending with modern locomotives, you have to pave the ways, switch the arrows and make sure that the compositions with cargoes in time reach the desired stations. And yes, it is better to avoid frontal collisions – the incumbent fragments on the paths obviously will not add glasses to you.
What makes the game special is its surprisingly relaxing atmosphere-you can pause at any time, think about routes and even expand the trains back if something went wrong. Changing eras and locations (from snowy Norway to picturesque Chinese landscapes) add diversity, and additional tasks like restrictions on the construction of bridges or a ban on braking force each level to go in a new way.
The route grid in your hands turns into a confusing, but logical pattern, and a light visual style gives construction an almost meditative character. When a dozen compositions simultaneously rolls along the network of paths that you have thought out, this is not stress, but a small miracle of engineering thought. And who knows, maybe a new level is exactly the one where you will become a real railway genius.
