Description: Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree is an isometric action-rogal with a Japanese color, where you take on the role of a foist, a priestess of the sacred tree, designed to stop the god of darkness of Magatsu. Together with one of the eight keepers, you go to a series of dangerous sorties around the world, filled with perfumes, miasm and ancient magic. Each attempt is a new path through colorful landscapes, a fight with hordes of enemies and a fight with powerful bosses. But the main thing here is not just to survive, but to go through the test together.
You control the leader of the detachment – Tsurugi in close combat, and the second character, Kagura, follows you and supports magic. Each of the eight allies has two roles: as a warrior and as a caster. You yourself decide who to take with you, and how to combine their abilities. One-a fluffy cat-pier, the other-a giant gold fish-each adds their own style. During the battle, it is important to change two swords in order to prevent their breakdown, and maintain the rhythm of attacks. Yes, the mechanics are simple, but it is in this – its strength: a dynamic, clear battle without unnecessary troubles.
Each launch is a step forward and price is a victim. After the victory over the boss, you must sacrifice one keeper to restore the power of the world. It changes everything: you can’t hang on your favorite build, you have to try a new one. In the village of Shinju, you can forge weapons, pump skills and listen to dialogs, although they are tightened. But visually the game is amazing: picturesque stylistics, rich colors, the music of Hitoshi Sakimoto. Emotions, risk, beauty – and a constant feeling that in the next race it will be different.
