Description: Sworn delays you into a gloomy camelot, where King Arthur and his knights of the round table have long been not the heroes of fairy tales, but formidable opponents who need to be defeated. This is a cooperative coward where you can play one or assemble a team of up to four people. You are waiting for dungeons that look different every time – narrow corridors, abandoned halls full of enemies and traps. The task is simple: to break through the darkness and free Avalon from the curse. The world of the game is inspired by arthurian legends, but here everything is saturated with darkness and secrets, and familiar names like Lancelot or Gawain sound in a completely new way.
You take on the role of a knight of a dusk order – a warrior with a unique weapon, whether it be a heavy ax or a couple of quick blades. But the main thing is the gifts of the Fei lord, like Titania or Oberon. Their blessings – and more than two hundred – turn each battle into something special. You can, for example, surround yourself with a wall of fire, throw lightning or call a flock of ravens to break the enemies. Equipment and abilities are gradually improving, and you yourself decide what fighter to become. The game seems to whispers: “Come on, try it again, mix this with this” – and now you are already running into battle with a new idea how to smash everything around.
The atmosphere in Sworn clings not only with gameplay, but also with a picture – the world is drawn in the style of comics Mike Mignola, with sharp black lines and dark beauty. The sounds of steps, the clang of armor and melodies, from which the heart beats more often, only enhance the feeling that you are in the epicenter of something big. It’s even more interesting to play with friends: you can think together how to defeat a boss like a huge stone knight or a cunning beast from the depths. This is not just a game, but a whole adventure, where every battle is a little step towards becoming a legend in a world that almost surrendered to darkness.
