Description: Roadcraft is a unique recovery simulator of destroyed territories, where you turn into a master of all hands from a simple truck driver. In the role of the head of the construction brigade, you have to clear the rubble after disasters, lay roads through swamps and restore infrastructure like bridges and power plants. The action takes place on 8 large -scale maps – from flooded valleys to desert areas, each square kilometer of which requires a thoughtful approach and proper equipment.
Physics here is the main ally (or enemy). Each container, sandy embankment or concrete slab are subject to the laws of gravity and inertia. One incorrect calculation – and the crane overturn the cargo, and the bulldozer will become in impassable dirt. The arsenal has more than 40 units of special equipment: from classic dump trucks to asphalt pods and cranes with realistic management. A special buzz – to observe how loaded materials deform the soil, and fresh asphalt lays in an even layer under the rink. You can even automate processes by setting routes for trucks with AI drivers.
Visually, the game makes a bet on detail: glare on wet equipment after rain, clouds of dust during the excavator, dynamic change of time of day. The cooperative for 4 players allows you to distribute tasks – one repair pipes, the other builds bypass tracks. And here there is a system for processing garbage into building materials – each discarded brick can become part of the new road.
