Description: Rise of Industry 2 transfers to the heyday of the Reaganomics era-the gold of the 1980s, where success is measured not only in tons of steel, but also with the number of business contacts. Here you have to build not just factories, but entire industrial complexes: winery with extensive plantations, microelectronic production with clean rooms, even aviation assembly workshops. Each such complex is a puzzle from warehouses, communications and logistics nodes: for example, a metallurgical plant requires not only coal and iron ore, but also a thought -out storage system, powerful transformers and sanitation.
Globalization dictates new rules of the game. Now, technology can be investigated in any order (if you want – immediately start from the production of computers), and key resources will have to be imported through a complex contract system. Business dinners and golf tournaments become as important as production indicators-the location of the chromium supplier may depend on how often you wrote out the premium to its managers. The visual style of the game is pure nostalgia for the era: neon signs, postmodern architecture and a synthetic soundtrack in the spirit of the “Running Blade”.
15 scenarios of the campaign (4-6 hours each) offer unique challenges: somewhere you have to buy sand to create silicon plates, and in another case, balancing between environmental standards and profit from oil refining. The sandbox mode completes the picture, allowing you to create industrial empires of any specialization – from the Pivovaren network to a conglomerate for the production of game consoles.
