Description: Ancient Farm is a farming simulator in which you build a farm in Ancient Egypt, starting with empty land and simple tools. No combines, no automatic systems – just hands, labor and time. You plow the field with a hoe, make ditches for water, plant wheat, flax, papyrus and sugar cane, monitoring each stage of growth. If you don’t water on time, the crop will die. If you delay collection, it will begin to deteriorate. Everything here requires attention, calculation and patience. Even turning wood into boards or clay into bricks is done by hand, step by step.
Over time, your farm comes to life: barns, kitchens, bakeries, and workshops appear. You produce bread, beer, oils, incense, and trade your surplus with a traveling merchant. Development comes through the discovery of drawings, improvement of tools and construction of new buildings – right up to temples. Animals also play a role: cows provide milk, sheep provide wool, chickens provide eggs, and bulls help plow the fields faster. Although the connection between the systems is still weak, the process itself – from the procurement of resources to the finished product – is satisfying in its directness and consistency.
The world is limited, but atmospheric: cycles of day and night, three seasons, a desert landscape, shadows on the sand from the first buildings. There is a time pass system that saves you from long waits. This is a slow, measured game without pressure, closer to meditation. Suitable for those who just want to work with their hands and watch order grow out of chaos.
