Description: MARVEL Cosmic Invasion is an arcade Beat ’em up in a bright pixel style, where the galaxy is threatened with destruction from Annihil – the embodiment of death itself from the Negative Zone. Assemble a team of two characters from Marvel’s extensive roster and fight side by side, from New York City to space ruins, from Spider-Man to the rarely seen File-Vell. Each hero retains his essence – Wolverine tears enemies with his claws, Storm summons lightning, and Rocket Raccoon unleashes a hell of grenades and machine guns.
The Cosmic Swap system allows you to switch between two selected heroes at any time or call a partner for an assist – both in battle and to perform joint special attacks. It’s not just a “beat ’em up” game: tactics are important here, as each character has their own health bar, unique abilities and fighting style. If you want, break the crowds with one Venom, or if you want, combine Nova’s long-range fire with Captain America’s melee attacks. At the same time, the levels are replete with recognizable locations like the Daily Bugle or the celestial helicarrier.
Local and online multiplayer make the game an excellent choice for playing together – with a friend, brother or a random online partner. The atmosphere seems to take you back to the 90s: fast combos, special effects explosions and pure adrenaline without overload. Turn on and hit – the galaxy does not wait.
