The game takes place in the distant past, in a world of primitive people, terrible monsters, giant insects and living dinosaurs. The primitive people, whom you will lead according to the plot, must survive this period, no matter what it costs them, and you will have to help them in this difficult task. Take control of an army of primitive people, build towers and create armies of warriors, destroy monsters and survive – these are your main tasks in this game.
By and large, this is a typical Tower Defense game, offering a standard set of mechanics and processes. Here, at each new level, you will create a line of defense and defend yourself from all sorts of enemies, place towers and defenders on the enemy’s route, develop your own unique technologies and create your own, fight and win. The game does not offer anything fundamentally new, unless of course you count the style and the absurdity of everything that is happening…
And the absurdity here lies primarily in the means that you will use during the defense. Here you will not have typical towers with different guns, but people whom you can teach different skills, and whom you can use as you see fit. You can use macaques in defense that throw poisonous bones, or maidens that fight, sitting on huge toads, or something else no less unusual. There are many options, and each time you will discover something new and even more absurd.
And in Age of Defense you will find a wide variety of everything that will be at your disposal. These are dozens of abilities for towers, and more than a dozen varieties of towers themselves, and more than five dozen varieties of enemies, and different maps, and much, much more.
