Description: Serum is a creepy, post-apocalyptic survival adventure game with horror elements. The story is told from the perspective of the main character. A man wakes up in a strange place that resembles a laboratory. Only the room is not sterilely clean: broken flasks and vessels are scattered everywhere, many corpses of not only people, but also disgusting mutants, as well as a mysterious green liquid. Very soon it becomes clear that she is the key to escape, but where to run when chaos is happening even outside the building?
In a new, but not at all wondrous, world, you will have to rely only on yourself. Serum invites players to try their hand at survival, where no one will come to your aid. Start by building a base camp, but to do this you will have to collect the necessary materials. Collect items and create gadgets from them, mix them into potions and craft various ammunition. Build buildings and necessary mechanisms like workbenches, placing them in selected places. Gradually expand your possessions by clearing the land from enemy invasion and installing fences with traps along the perimeter.
The opponents are ugly mutated creatures. Some of them are animals, while others have changed beyond recognition. Learn about their habits and habitats so as not to accidentally run into an ambush or a powerful beast hidden in the thicket of the forest. With the onset of darkness, enemies become more dangerous, so take care of protecting your home and weapons for self-defense in advance.
Explore the surrounding area and abandoned buildings in an attempt to find answers to your questions. Pick up pages from diaries, hack computers and listen to abandoned voice recorders. Find out not only the cause of the disaster, but also the properties of the mysterious liquid. Who knows, maybe you will turn into the same mutant as the creatures around you.
