Description: Road to Vostok is a hardcore survival shooter, where every bullet is worth its weight in gold, and the silence of the forests of southeastern Finland can be cut short by a sniper’s shot at any moment. You start in the evacuated zone Area 05: set up a shelter, barter with merchants without money, fish with realistic mechanics and prepare for the most important thing – crossing the guarded border into the East, the zone with permadef and the most valuable trophies.
The game does not forgive haste. The weapon requires manual reloading, cartridges are counted mentally, and head wounds cannot be treated with a tourniquet. The enemies are not just AI, but a real threat: bandits, corrupt border guards with air support and Russian soldiers in armored vehicles. The weather changes from northern lights to blizzards, and summer gives way to winter, forcing you to think not only about ammunition, but also about warmth.
Everything here is imbued with a Finnish atmosphere: from the flags on the trails to the folk music of Junna on a cassette player and even a talking cat that you can adopt. But behind the cozy fire there is always a choice looming: stay in relative safety or risk everything for the East. Because in this world, it is not the one who shoots better who survives, but the one who knows how to wait, plan – and hear the approach of trouble in silence.
