Description: Netherworld Covenant is a dark roguelike adventure where every run feels like a battle against the underworld itself. Wielding the forbidden Lantern of the Nether, you must resurrect the souls of fallen allies, uniting their forces against the demonic threat. The dungeons here are not just procedurally generated – they live according to the laws of cruel fantasy, where twisted knights coexist with primitive monsters, and every new turn can lead to either treasure or a deadly ambush.
The combat here is a real symphony of precision. Instead of mindlessly calling out attacks, the game requires careful paired dodges and the use of Ethereal Rush to instantly change position. Four classes of Soul Companions (Swordsman, Marksman, Guardian, Rogue) add depth: their skills allow them to either set up bloody traps or go into the shadows right in the middle of a fight. The bosses are especially good – their attacks look like a deadly dance, where the slightest mistake costs your life.
Between trips to hell, a camp awaits you on the border of worlds – a place where you can take a breath, forge weapons from demonic steel and learn new snippets of gloomy lore. Netherworld Covenant doesn’t try to reinvent the genre, but polishes the core mechanics to a great shine, creating an atmosphere where even a short 20-minute run leaves the feeling of an epic saga.
