Description: Moros Protocol is a first-person roguelike in the spirit of old combat shooters, where you wake up aboard the dead space battleship Orpheus with no memory and only a nano-sword in your hand. There is blood all around, the corpses of the crew, radio silence and the voice of an unknown person who says that you are not the first to wake up here. Every death is not the end: your consciousness is transferred via the Moros protocol to a new body, and you continue your journey through the hellish machinery of the ship to understand what happened.
You explore procedurally generated halls full of alien creatures – from swarming larvae to mutants with acidic saliva. The combat system combines three types of weapons: cold, physical and energy – each with its own ammunition and fighting style. You combine them with augments that change the characteristics of weapons or armor, creating unique builds. Between starts, you upgrade your character through the upgrade tree, buying new starting items, increasing your health, or adding slots for modifications.
Visually, the game breathes retro-futurism: pixel graphics in the PSX style, contrasting shadows, bright flashes of shots and synth rock bursting into the headphones at the first attack. There’s no softness here – just fragile environments, exploding barrels and bosses with flashy attacks that keep you on the edge of your seat. Want to test your reflexes, strategy and patience? Then step into the next compartment – if you dare.
