Description: Sicily of the beginning of the 20th century is a place where honor is measured by blood, and power is taken using a cut and stylet. In Mafia: The Old Country you play for Enzo Favar, a former employee of sulfur mines, to whom fate gives a chance to enter the family of Don Torrizi. But the mafia does not forgive weakness: every step on the criminal ladder requires sacrifice – be it eliminating competitors, bloody showdowns or betrayal of those who trusted you. The game transfers you to an era when cars just started replacing horses, and shootings in the narrow streets of Palermo were commonplace.
The gameplay combines tactical shootings, hidden killings and large -scale clashes with enemy clans. In the arsenal there is an authentic weapon of the era: from revolvers with slow reloading to formidable LuPar (cuts), which are at point -blank. But the real force is in relations: completing tasks for the family, you are growing with allies that can cover your back or betray at a decisive moment. Visually, the game is striking in detail – from the sun -flooded fields to gloomy slums, where even a shadow can become a deadly trap.
A special charm is the atmosphere of old Sicily. Complete localization in the Sicilian dialect, music inspired by folk motifs, and the cinematographic presentation of scenes turn The Old Country into a living gangster epic. There is no black and white morality-only the choice between power and fidelity, where even the sun does not hide the shadows of the past over the Mediterranean.
