Description: Egypt Frontiers is a strategic simulator that takes you to the era of the pharaohs, where each player becomes the creator of an ancient civilization. You don’t just have to stack stone upon stone to build the pyramids, but make global decisions: distribute resources between artisans and farmers, lay trade routes along the Nile, and resolve conflicts between priests and warriors. The setting is made with historical accuracy – from the characteristic terracotta hue of the adobe houses to the exact copies of ancient tools in the hands of your workers.
The game balances between strategy and city-building simulator – you can switch between a holistic view of the kingdom map and detailed control over individual construction sites. It’s a special thrill to watch how, under your leadership, the desert is gradually overgrown with irrigation canals, and stepped giant pyramids grow on the horizon. The texture of building materials, clouds of dust when transporting blocks and bustling crowds of nomes (provinces) create the effect of a living, breathing world.
Unlike typical city building simulators, the emphasis here is on the educational component without sacrificing gameplay. All technologies and architectural solutions are historically justified – even now, write a manual for Egyptology students. At the same time, creative freedom is maintained: you can either meticulously recreate real monuments like the Giza complex, or give free rein to your imagination, designing alternative versions of “what if Khafre decided to build an oval-shaped pyramid.”
