The main highlight is HD-2D style that turns pixel aesthetics into something magical. Cities, dungeons and even random meetings with monsters look as if they were drawn manually, and animation gives the battles kinematographic. But this is not just a beautiful shell – the mechanics remained true to the original, from the class of classes where it is possible to redistribute skills, to a tactical choice in battles.
The plot is simple, but this is its charm: you are the heir to the legendary hero, and your goal is to repeat his path, gathering the team and struggling the ancient evil. Unlike many modern RPG, there are no obsessive quests – only you, your detachment and a huge world that you want to explore. And taking into account the fact that you can play the game in an accelerated mode, even random battles do not have time to get bored.
