Description: Beyond Galaxyland takes players to distant star worlds, offering an exciting story and a diverse gameplay. The protagonist, Douglas, is in a foreign world after meeting with the mysterious essence and passing through the mysterious portal. There he learns that the Earth is doomed to destroy a creature named Heimover, but DreamCorp Corporation saves it, moving to the planet in the Galaxyland system. Together with his beloved pet, a boom-boom, in the new world, the Douglas goes on a journey to find out the truth about the fate of the Earth and his saviors.
The gameplay is a mixture of a platformer and a step by step RPG. The study of the world occurs on 2D-plate, allowing players to move by levels, solve puzzles and find hidden objects. The platform elements are simple, but exciting, adding diversity to the gameplay. The battles take place in step -by -step mode, where an important aspect is the accumulation of abilities (AP), which are spent on special characters’ skills. To increase the number AP, players need to accurately attack enemies, because misses can cost points.
An interesting feature of the game is the ability to seize enemies and use them as calls in battle. This resembles Pokemon mechanics, where each called essence has unique abilities that can attack enemies and support the Douglas team. Thus, players can create tactical combinations and apply them depending on the situation.
In addition to the main story, the game has many side missions and mini-games, such as races and collection of creatures. This helps to diversify the gameplay and holds interest throughout the campaign. Pixel art graphics are combined with modern 3D effects, creating a unique atmosphere, and sound accompaniment, consisting of electronic compositions, successfully emphasizes the moments of action and research. The visual component deserves a separate mention: each world in the game has been worked out with love for details, whether it be industrial cities or picturesque forests.
