Description: Ayasa: Shadows of Silence is a dark platformer in which you travel through an upside-down world, consumed by darkness after the collapse of the ancient balance. Without a single word, the story unfolds through gestures, symbolism and atmosphere: six lands – Faith, Hope, Love, Greed, Indifference and Betrayal – each twisted by vices and requiring not just dexterity, but moral choice.
Light here is not a metaphor, but a tool: with its help you activate mechanisms, push aside darkness and find hidden paths. Puzzles require not only logic, but also timing, and new abilities obtained in the “pure” lands provide access to previously inaccessible corners. Sometimes you will have to hide from the nightmarish guards, hiding behind furniture or freezing in the shadows – after all, it is not always safe to run.
The game’s visual style, inspired by Burton, Miyazaki and Bekshin, turns every frame into a disturbing picture, where beauty coexists with horror. The soundtrack, based on the music of Komitas, and the oppressive silence make Ayasa’s journey a personal, almost intimate experience. Your decisions will determine whether the ending is one of redemption—or being consumed by darkness.
