Description: HELLBREAK is an adrenaline-pumping roguelike shooter that throws you into the thick of combat from a first-person perspective. You are a soldier stuck in demonic catacombs, where survival depends not only on accuracy, but also on the ability to use magic and combine upgrades. Each run introduces a new set of blessings, spells and weapons, turning battles into a chaotic but deliberate dance of death.
Much more important than bullets here are speed and strategy. You can tear apart crowds of demons with firestorms, place totems, or turn into a ghost while dodging attacks. The weapons don’t disappoint either: revolvers, shotguns and machine guns provide different gameplay, and the reloading system when changing barrels encourages a dynamic style. The better you play, the more powerful your combos become – and therefore your chances of climbing to the top of the leaderboard.
Hell in HELLBREAK is not just a background – it is alive and cruel. The arenas resemble a hybrid of military fortifications and Gothic ruins, the enemies attack cunningly, and the bosses force you to get the most out of the mechanics. This is a challenge where it is impossible to get bored: even after a dozen attempts, you are curious to try new builds – and then, you see, you will break through to salvation.
