Description: Causal Loop is a sci-fi puzzle adventure where you are an exo-archaeologist named Bale. You fly to the distant planet Tor Ulsat with your colleague Jen to explore the ruins of an ancient civilization. But things go awry when you accidentally trigger an ancient device called a chronolith. Reality begins to fall apart at the seams, your partner disappears, and you yourself find yourself locked in a world where time is broken and the past is constantly superimposed on the present.
The main thing in the game is the Echo mechanic. You record your actions, and then you can create up to three copies of your past self and interact with them. These copies help you solve complex puzzles, activate mechanisms, and get to places you can’t go alone. The game combines enjoyable exploration of atmospheric alien ruins with an emotional story that is fully voice-acted. Each cycle forces you to think about how best to use your own actions from the past.
