Description: Invincible VS is a fast-paced 3v3 team-based fighting game where you assemble a team of your favorite characters from the universe and fight on the same plane. You switch between fighters at any time to get out of a difficult situation or continue a combo. The combo meter system fills up from hits and at the right moment throws the enemy to the ground, preventing long series. The active tag lowers the meter a bit so you use the whole team more often. There are convenient defensive techniques: a regular push block, a Heroic Strike for counterattacks from a block, Counter Tags that interrupt an enemy tag, and Assist Breakers that save your fighter at the cost of part of your partner’s health. The controls are designed for a gamepad, but there are also classic buttons for those who love precision.
The game looks bright and stylish, like in Spider-Verse, with a lot of blood and brutal blows that perfectly convey the spirit of the universe. You have 18 characters with different styles – from the powerful punches of Invincible to the explosive attacks of Rex Splode. Each level is a recognizable location from the series, and between fights the characters exchange remarks and tease each other. In the story mode, you watch the original animation and take part in the fights yourself, and in the arcade mode, you go through the stairs and get short endings.
