Description: Terminator 2D: NO FATE is an arcade action game in pixel retro style, where you return to the very heart of Terminator 2: Judgment Day, but with the right to change the outcome of events. Play as Sarah Connor, T-800 or John Connor – each character unlocks his own line of missions: from escaping from a mental hospital and showdowns with bikers to future battles against the armies of Skynet. Iconic scenes – like the motorcycle chase and the assault on Cyberdyne – are recreated with loving detail, but woven into original plot twists.
The gameplay combines elements of run-and-gun, hacks and fixed shooting ranges – here you can run with a shotgun at the ready, and acrobatic shootouts on rooftops, and even moments reminiscent of classic platformers. The levels are designed to capture the tension of the film, with the T-1000 chasing you not only through the boss fights, but also through the pacing of the game itself. Choose a mode – story, arcade, endless or special challenges – and try to earn the highest rating to enter your name in the leaderboard.
The musical accompaniment includes both reworked motifs from Brad Fish’s soundtrack and new compositions that enhance the atmosphere of the impending apocalypse. And most importantly, the phrase “there is no fate except the one we create ourselves” is not just a quote here: your decisions determine whether Judgment Day can be prevented or humanity will once again find itself under the heel of machines.
