A young girl, April, arrives at an old estate in Maine to help the last heir of the Kensington circus dynasty prepare the family home for sale. While carrying out the cheerful old man’s errands, she unwittingly learns more about his family history and finds herself drawn into the family squabbles of his relatives… who seemed to have died long ago.
Why did young Thomas leave here 50 years ago and never communicate with his parents again? What events led to the most famous circus house in America being forgotten? And what sacrifices do you sometimes have to make to become a famous artist?
